Melissa Martin currently works for Unifi as Brand Sales Manager and lives in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Originally from Lancaster, Pennsylvania, she went to Manheim Township High School and was a multiple-year recipient for NFHCA All-American, MidEast All-Region, and PA All-State team awards. From 2006-2010, she attended Wake Forest University where she played in three NCAA Final Fours and won the ACC Championship Title in 2006.  At Wake Forest, she was recognized on the NCAA Division 1 All-American, All-Region, All-ACC, NCAA & ACC All-Tournament teams, and ACC All-Academic Team.  Melissa had the opportunity to play and train with the USA National teams nationally and internationally including the Women's Indoor, U21, U19, and U16 teams. She is a Level II USA Field Hockey coach and previously the Director of the Wake Forest University Futures site.  Melissa is the founder of NC Triad Field Hockey Club and Peace Hockey non-profit.  She also serves on the board of the United Way of Forsyth County and WS Fellow non-profits.
